Schedule Change
After being on the graveyard shift for a long time, my manager finally transferred me to the morning shift.
Honestly, I’m really grateful for it.
I still have a Sunday shift, which is not ideal as I will miss the Victory Group, but overall, this setup is much better for my health. My body has been struggling with the night shift for a while now, especially with the recent lab results that needed attention.
Church Alone
There was a time I went to church alone.
Usually, we’re together as a family, especially with Kean around, so it felt different.
Quieter.
Less distractions.
Since Kean stayed home, I was able to focus more during worship and really listen to the Word.
Not that I don’t enjoy being with my family there, because I do, and I missed them during that time.
It reminded me that worship feels different when your mind is fully present.
Badminton Mornings
We’ve also been playing badminton here in San Pedro, Laguna.
Several Saturday mornings already.
It’s fun, exhausting, and honestly something I didn’t expect to enjoy this much. I’m not even good yet. It's my wife who's really good.
Kean Started Playschool
We enrolled Kean in playschool.
To be honest, the first few days were hard for him. Everything was new. New people, new environment, new routines. There were tears and loud cries.
It's hard to watch, but as he goes by, when he's feeling better, being familiar, it's beautiful
It’s weird seeing Kean slowly become more independent in a way. You feel proud and emotional.
Date at Sobra Café
We also had a date at Sobra Café.
Just the two of us.
We left Kean at home so we could spend some quiet time together.
And honestly, we needed that. We need moments like this as a couple.
The food was good and it's Sobra.
Birthday Celebration at BGC
We celebrated my mom and dad’s birthdays at Six Doors in BGC.
Buffet. Unlimited food. It was good.
We spent time eating together, talking, laughing, and just enjoying the day as a family. After that, we went shopping for clothes for them, grabbed coffee, and walked around BGC for a bit.
They also got to ride the car, which made the trip more fun.
