Things that I never told you about

It's been more than a week since we all met Kean. But before all of that, let me tell you a story of what happened. This is outside of what I posted online during the announcement of Kean's birth. 

I don't exactly know what I feel while my wife is in the operating room. My head is about to explode. I may look posed and calm outside but I' 'm trembling on the inside. 

I always joke about my mother-in-law being so nervous but imagine this. She slept. I did not. I cannot. I cannot stop thinking about my wife in the operating room. We are just a wall away but we do not know what's happening. 

I can't help myself. I'm just uttering small prayers to God asking for protection, strength, and safety. I sang this particular song and it's all I can think about..

I found my fortress, in You

And my soul is anchored, with You

My resting place, is in Your name

Forever safe

And I also repeated this line from one of my favorite song: Dahil Sinabi Mo

This calms me a little, it reminded me of how God works and how faithful He is to His words. But before all of that, I'm in a really dark place. I feel like I just don't care about anything, I just want her to be safe.

I continuously prayed and even tried bargaining with God. I know it's silly but I'm getting desperate. I can't help it and I'm about to cry. If only I could take all the pain and protect her at all costs. I just can't imagine my life without her. It's odd and all but she's my everything. I love her so much and my life would definitely be a wreck without her. She brightens my day and she takes care of me and our home. I just can't imagine it all. 

I only calmed a bit when the nurse called me to the NICU to see the kid. They just informed me of the condition of the child and I can't stop smiling, I can't believe that this is an offspring of Jassie and I. Then, the OB told me that they were cleansing Jassie and asleep. 

Hearing those made me relax a little and took a nice nap. A few hours later, I realized that I worried for nothing.

Ate Kat visited us before the year ended. 

Last selfie before giving birth. We were at Hazel's and Gelo's wedding and Jassie became sick and needed to be rushed to the hospital and more than a day later, we became parents of a cute baby boy named Kean. 

We also had a bridal shower and bachelorette party for Hazel and Gelo. I don't have pics so..

Hacinth, Charlie and Den also visited us and had some stories and food, and some games. No pictures as well.

This is one of my favorite shows this year. I like the concept of not just a bucket list but they combined it with a zombie apocalypse. It's odd but it works. It feels like they would not have a choice but to complete the bucket list before becoming a zombie. 

The show started really well. They gave us this somehow real-life scene about working at a corporate job. Being a slave from 9-5. A zombie if you may. Then, the zombies are colorful and it's really nice to the eyes. It's played a huge part in enjoying the show. That's why when they postponed this weeks ago, it made me sad. But knowing that they released the remaining episode on Christmas day is a true Christmas gift to the fans. 

What's great about it is it has tons of life lessons about family, self-righteousness, and even luck.

We witness friendship and making the most of our lives. Giving back to our parents, having friends, and having fun. It's about realizing what you really want to do with your life.

Regardless if there's a zombie apocalypse or a pandemic, you'll realize that you want to have an adventurous bucket list.

This anime started strong. Of course, the hook is gotta be that. It's a story about a shy boy and an outgoing girl with tons of experience in love. While the boy had none. 

It's a usual story, but what's interesting is the battle on their heads. The girl didn't really understand love until now. The boy never had any relationship in the past and he feels like he can't offer anything. 

They struggle because the girl experienced it all and she does not have any "firsts" with the actual man that she loves. 

The story is interesting, there's drama and conflict. You'll enjoy the ride if you wanna chill. My only issue is the ending. They never gave us that experienced episode.

When I heard about this show, all I could say was that it was ridiculous. It's gonna be insane. That's a 100 and all I can think about is how would they pull this off. I can only imagine the conflict.

And I'm that kind of anime fan, I sometimes watch really stupid anime such as this but oh boy. The show did not disappoint. It's hilarious and it's full of fan service. If you thought that this was going to be serious, hell no. This show is a parody of all the harem shows ever created. The 100 will probably symbolize each and every element that harem anime uses. 

Don't get me wrong. The anime is nice. I waited for it every week. I love the twists and turns, how they interact with each other and the reason for the 100 soulmates is really stupid and we can't complain about it at all. 

Would I recommend it? I guess. Would you like it? Probably. But it's worth considering if you want to have some laughs. 

Oh, before I forget. The character design and style are good. I can see a lot of waifu material among them. We only have 6 girlfriends and it's already insane. Can't wait for the future seasons.

Rurouni Kenshin is one of the iconic animes back in the day. We know the show as Samurai X and it was an amazing childhood, all we wanna do back then was to fight as Saiyans or wield our swords to be crowned as Battusai. 

I'm glad that they remade this as as much as I wanted to rewatch this, I don't have any plans yet. When they announce this, I know that this is my only chance. 

I don't remember much from the anime back then, I only remember a few characters so while watching the show, it feels like I'm watching a new anime with familiar characters. 

It's a 24-episode remake and I watch it regularly every week since its release in July I truly enjoy the show. I love the dynamic of the characters and of course, Kenshin's language.

I guess what I'm expecting in the show is the iconic fight between Kenshin and Shishio Makoto, so I'm really excited for the second season. They already tease us in the last episode.

I just finished this show yesterday and always needed to remember how good this show is. I almost missed the previous season for some reason but once I caught up. I immediately hop into the current one. 

This season is overall, good. I like the pacing, I like the storyline, and the revelation in each episode, the protagonist is still somehow annoying. There are times that you feel lost on what's happening. Thinking who is this guy again?

The build-up is really nice. I love how Mickey returned to the battle which was almost lost by Takemichi. I love how they elevate the risk. The show is becoming a biker gang to a real gangsta with guns and killing. - which they didn't downplay. The killing is such a big deal. 

I don't know what will happen next but I'm unsure about the ending. Is it an unsatisfactory win?
