F.R.I.E.N.D.S

So no one told you life was gonna be this way.

I know, I know, we're late. The last episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S was aired last May 2004. That's 16 years, while the pilot episode was released in 1994. I'm turning 2 at the time.

It's fascinating, to be honest, and I'm not really into watching those old series or movies. But Jassiee told me to watch it. So, we watched it together, separately during the quarantine.

If you wanted to chill and just laugh. This TV series is the way to go. The elements and punchlines are high and I doubt not liking the team.

Last year or so, we finished How I Met Your Mother and its the best that I've watched. It has those plot twists and it's funny and also has several dramatic elements to the series but, as often as they compare the two series, it's completely different.

I mean, you will enjoy the two in their strengths. FRIENDS has a light flavor to it and you'll like it as you go deeper to those episodes. It's a masterpiece of a classic comedy.

Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Monica, and Chandler. A picture of FRIENDS that go through a lot and they're always been with each other. Despite their difference, they enjoy each other's company.

There's not much that I can say about this but it's one of the best. You better watch it if you still haven't. If you're still having doubts about watching it, remember that it was first aired September of 1994 and it's still on the most watch series as of now. After I finished this series, I'm not shocked why it's still up there.

Cooper and her offsprings

If you didn't know yet, we have 2 female Shih-tzu and they're adorable and can be annoying at the same time.

Now, if you didn't know yet. We also have a mixed-breed male dog. He's a pretty big dog compared to our little Shih-tzu. Apparently, there was an unexpected romance between Cooper and YouTube (Yup, that's the name of the male dog. Blame my dad.)

So, they did what they have to do. We were devastated because of the fear of pregnancy and all the vaccines. You know, it's a lockdown. We might not afford the extra expenses.

Few weeks had passed and we have no idea what's happening and one day, my uncle noticed so many changes in Cooper's body. Signs of pregnancy, he said.

2 days after, she went crazy and don't know what to do and calmness was taken out of her body. We knew that this was it. Last week, Jul 21, during my rest day. Not knowing what to do, while I'm doing my thing on my laptop. I heard a weird dog cry. I'm pretty sure that Cooper is in pain but I realized that the cry is very tiny. So, I stood up knowing that there's a little buddy somewhere. I knew it.

She gave birth to 1 puppy. I have to set everything up for her. I remove my chair as she cleans her offspring. I gave them time alone, picked up my stuff, and settled outside. About an hour after, I decided to check them. And yeah, she already has 2 puppies. I'm happy and I know it. Few more hours later, we have found ourselves having 4 puppies.

I'm sorry for the bad photo and this is truly a mess. But I'm grateful for the safe delivery and the kids are healthy and alive and well.

here they are now:

They're so adorable and I'm pretty surprised by Cooper. I didn't expect her to be this good of a mother. She takes care of them and makes sure that her milk is being served.

Well, there was this time that after she gave birth here in our bedroom, we happened to find a place for her puppies. Apparently, that's not the place that Cooper wants. She stole one of the puppies and attempted to bring it back here in the bedroom. After much of negotiations, they settled in my mom and dad's bed.

Dattebayo

And so. Last July 10, I finally finished both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden episodes including all the movies and the filler episodes and it's amazing. This is one of the best anime I guess? Well, this is from the perspective of someone who does not watch anime.

I started watching it at the start of the quarantine, I don't remember when exactly but March 19 is the earliest record I found.

Initially, I watched Naruto out of nostalgia. This is a childhood anime for me and I grew up that this is my favorite anime that I never finished. Maybe because of what I feel while watching this back then.

It got me interested in the whole story. I watched several animes growing up, I witnessed Ghost Fighter, Dragon Ball Z, Flame of Recca, Inuyasha, Samurai X, Fushigi Yuugi among others.

What makes me interested in Naruto us probably the idea of being the least and the journey of being the best, well, eventually he really became the best. To add to that, as Naruto's ninja way "I won't go back on my word" narrative is one of the anime's inevitable pull.

By the way, this is a mess up review and thoughts about the anime. So, forgive me if it's all over the place. Thanks!

The first thing that I wanted to talk about is the feeling. It's always sad whenever I see flashbacks from Naruto's childhood. The feeling of being rejected and alone and being hated for something he is not.

Naruto has the Nine-Tails sealed inside him and people are afraid as rejected him as many people died from the incident that happened years ago. But this incident molded Naruto to what he is right now. Because of the pain he experienced, he understands other people's pain as well. This has been an important aspect of the anime up to the end.

He understands the pain and it changes the world. Other than that, there are lots of tear-jerkers all over the place. Deaths, storylines, flashbacks and several touching moments. Sometimes, you don't even need any dialogue.

The anime tells the story, not just Naruto's but even the whole shinobi universe, very well. There are lots of characters and stories that they told and you'll never be overloaded with information. It's amazing how they share the stories with multiple layers that make the fans lose their minds. There are moving turnarounds and amazing characters and with all those stories, you'll love Naruto's character more and more.

How they portray the villain is really good as well. It's complicated but it's understandable. They're powerful yet has a weak background that leads them to what they have become.

The whole narrative is simply amazing. As episodes pile up, excitement and wanting to watch another episode is pilling up as well. It's just great and I can't recommend it enough.

The ending (Spoiler alert) is Naruto's wedding, well, most of the last season is pretty light and chill overall. Seeing Naruto being married is like attending a friend's wedding. Knowing how he grew up makes us fans be proud of everything he has done.

Now, I started watching another anime related to Naruto, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and it's about Naruto's son. It's an on-going series that has less than 200 episodes as of now. Once I catch up, this will be the first anime that I happened to wait for the weekly showing of episodes.

That's probably all that I can say for now?

As a result of my addiction to Naruto, please follow my Instagram page dedicated to Naruto fan arts. @myartdump.psd

On Messing up.

There are things that are holding me back. Uncertain things like we don't have enough, what would the future be like, can we handle it?

Yes, I worry but I'm the kind of person that if something messes up, the damage would only be for myself. No harm done for the people around. I'm not good at taking the blame but I'd rather be messed up alone than dragging other people when things go out of hand.

And this is not about not being able to trust anyone or thinking myself as stronger to handle those things. It's just, I don't like the feeling of bothering other people for being irresponsible.

I have this small tank in my head that gets overflowed when stuff happens left and right and my tendencies are to slack and play around and possibly figure it out later.

I just realize this now and it's pretty bad. I'm not sure yet on how will I overcome this. But yeah. That's probably all that I can say. Goodbye.

The Hard Fall presents: Sing Away

Here I am sitting on my bed
Pillows tucked between the wall and my back
Another one under this machine

As I juggle between the OPM songs
Emotions start beating
My mind starts to flash colors of the unknown
Dancing like I'm a disco ball

As the bass drop
Baggage starts to fall
Give me some guitar riffs
That energizes every feeling
And that drumbeat
Is in sync with my heartbeat

Let me feel
The soft melody
Of every keystroke

'cause that's just the way how I feel
'cause that's just the way how I am
All I do is sway
All I do is sing away

This feeling might not go away
My mind may also start to swell
It's like I'm drowning but I chose to stay

I saw this in my drafts, unfinished, os I decided to finish it today. Considering this a hardfall piece for some reason?

20/20

A few years ago. The year 2020 is quite an interesting year. Well, simply because it's 2020, people even make slogans broadcasting 2020 as a clear vision. Comparing the year to the normal and not blurry sight.

We're halfway through the year and it's kinda odd if we're still thinking that 2020 has something clear to offer. We started the year as the COVID-19 is being spread at a rapid rate. We had a piece of devastating news about Kobe earlier in the year, a volcano erupted out of nowhere, multiple homes were on fire, we had a social issue about the heartless killing of several Black Americans, 2 of my former Church leader died, government issues and many have died because of the COVID pandemic.

It's overwhelming, you know. We're being kicked down, push around, and on the edge of breaking down. And it seems like there's no one else to save us.

And then, upon pondering, I realized that 2020 really gave us a clearer vision. A 20/20 vision.

What am I saying?

This year gave us an opportunity to be with our family.
This year opened multiple business opportunities
This year allow us to see deaths in every day and made us value life even more
This year gave importance to our health
This year showed us the things that matter
This year gave way to have Christ the talk of the internet especially on Sundays
This year opened our eyes even more about our government
This year magnifies the community helping each other

There are things that God showed us this year. Though those that I listed about are not being experienced by everyone, I really hope and pray and possibly work together for the betterment of this country's situation.

There are still people with no work and has nothing on their table, there are still people trying to survive, living their lives in the hospital, risking their lives. Let us not overlook those and pray for them and take action.

We may be the person that will make this year truly clear.
