TWENTY-TWENTY-FIVE

My 2024 Summary.

It's an elevated Spotify Wrapped!

MOMENT OF A DAY IN A YEAR:

When everything feels automated—when life becomes a cycle that keeps moving without pause—what do you do?

It’s a routine that’s been around for a long time. Breaking it feels impossible. It’s hard, exhausting even. And yet, somehow, the chain was broken, and everything began to change.

Breakfast is often filled with good things—hope, gratitude, small joys. But as the routine pushes toward lunchtime, things grow heavier. Decisions become tougher, challenges more complicated. Still, it always finds its way back to better moments. Being scammed was devastating, but receiving a new vehicle changed so much for us—it shifted our perspective and renewed our strength.

This year changed our lives. We were tested, stretched, and challenged, but God’s grace prevailed.

Dinner may seem like the end of the day, the final chapter—but God shook everything up, reminding us that endings can also be beginnings. 🌅🙏

But you're here with me, and that's all I need to know

TWENTY-TWENTY-THREE

My 2023 summary.

Playlist:

MOMENT OF A DAY IN A YEAR:

I woke up on a brand new day. Collecting things that made me smile. Dreaming about the things that I wanna do and say but breakfast comes way too early with all the laughs and understanding. Enjoying every dish made with love.

A few hours pass by and we're at lunch, launching things into the air to absorb what life throws at us. It's odd and challenging but you know that you'll get through it all. There are doubts and uncertainty and worry but you know that you have a companion that will sympathize with you to the end and a God that will always be there.

Just like that dinner came in a rush. Lots of worry and proper thinking, you can only do much and you can only trust Him that everything will go so well. Then, you'll find a place so safe because it's set by the hands of the creator. And scrolling through the white walls of this room with the brightest smile of it all. A young boy appeared out of the seemingly exploding tummy of the pregnant wife.

I never thought this life would be this good. I never asked for anything more than I could handle, God gave me the gift of life, an offspring of my own and I never imagined overflowing with love and hope.

BIBLE STORY OF THE YEAR: Luke 5:1-11

Jesus Calls His First Disciples
5 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. 2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”

5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” 9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.

Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

A LOVE LIFE

A lot happened this year. We're into our 2nd year of marriage and everything is going smoothly. I'm not saying that we figured it out. But I felt that God is leading us along the way and He is so gracious to us.

I love her. But I love her more now and this love has a fruit - Kean. Now, we're becoming a small family. May God guide us and protect us always.

SPIRITUALITY. RELATIONSHIP. GOD

From the beginning
We are founded in Your love
All of your promises hold true
And for Your purpose
Whatever it takes we will endure
Even through darkness we’ll break through

Faithful then
Faithful now
Faithful always

Two Blue Vortex

It went by just like that.

This year culminated with an incredible blessing. A baby boy named Kean. Before that, allow me to look back:

Coffee with TFs

First time eating at Mary Grace. Very tito and tita

The biannual Prayer and Fasting. First time to fully participate as a married couple. We asked God for many things. Particularly many miracles for this year.
Kuya Allan's Birthday. We were invited to eat out at Manam's. Suprisingly, we are with Pastor Jun and his wife
Of course, my mom's birthday at Max's.
Starting off the new month by going on a trip to Batangas for a child dedication, this time, we brought Shiro. It's tough leaving him at home alone when we're out for a really long time. It was fun and tiring. Bringing a dog along is a real hard work. You have to guide them at all times, you don't want your dog to bite or to be bitten by strays (Or kids :x), you have to feed them, play with them, and clean them after they dig every square inch of the ground.

After a few years, we're back at concerts. This is a gift to my wife as Moira is her favorite artist.

I also bought a glass cab for my growing collection

Quick and simple date during valentines

Quick date at a park in alabang

First and last time I volunteered at Victory. This was at Leader's Convergence.

Ate Kat also visited us earlier this year

Discipleship conference!

Enchanted Kingdom to celebrate RJ's birthday

Shiro's birthday with a messy cake

Finished the foundations class

Quick coffee with my bratha in Christ

We are so glad to see these people again after more than a year of working with them during our wedding.

Men VG

First time to fine dine at the Nest in Alabang.

Oh yeah. Jassie's preggy

There were celebrations but there we grief. We lost Blackie this year due to an accident.

Joined our parent's VG for mother's day

And the Father's Day celebration

We also went to Davao to visit our ninong and had some tours

The annual buffet ft our team.

Met the team again for some training.

Anime 2023

Here we go again, my anime list of 2023!

Anime of the year:

I felt like I needed to watch this soon. I kept on delaying this but it's one of the best out there. I'm glad I finished this already.

Best Animation:

I just love the design for this. It's different from the usual zombie show with all the blood.

Best Score:

One of the best shows in history. The soundtrack is just perfection. I'm glad that I'm able to witness this masterpiece.

Best Romance:

I really enjoy this show. It's calming and it's about gaming and love. Plus, the soundtrack is from Kana-Boon ft. Yuho Kitazawa.

Best Drama:

An underrated show from Netflix.

Best Action:

One of the best shows in recent years. The world-building is cool and fighting is nice enough.

Best Fantasy:

I need to include this in the list. One of the best shows this year. I'm really fascinated with timetravel animes.

Best Comedy:

A parody of all the harem in history.

Best Protagonist: Thorfinn - Vinland Saga

Best character development. Forget farmland saga, PEAKLAND SAGA.

This is a tough list cause I've watched too many good animes this year.
