Aug

August was full of small adventures and first-time experiences, the kind that make the month feel fuller than expected.

We kicked things off with a trip to Clark Safari with Jas, Kean, Papa, Jasper, and RJ. It was Sonnet’s first time going up north, and seeing all the animals and Kean's happiness made the trip even more memorable. The place was big, lively, and full of things to see — perfect for a family day out.

A few days later, we went to Batangas, and it became another milestone for me because I drove for the first time on a long trip. Nakakakaba pero fulfilling — one of those moments where you realize how far you’ve come since your first driving lesson. Hahaha

This month, we were also invited to LeadCon, a gathering of leaders in our church. It was a refreshing time of learning and being equipped.

And to cap off the month, we visited a park along Daang Hari, a huge open grassland where Kean walked non-stop. Simple moment lang, but seeing him enjoy the wide space felt peaceful and grounding.

August may not have been flashy, but it was full of firsts, family, faith, and quiet joys.

July

July came with blessings I honestly didn’t expect — the kind that make you pause and say, “Napakabuti ng ating Diyos, Di siya nag babago.”

The biggest one: we bought a car. Such a huge milestone for us. I never thought we’d get one this early, especially with the budget so tight. But miracles happen when you least expect them.

Aries actually drove the car home first since we didn’t have our licenses yet, and seeing it parked outside felt surreal. And yes — I finally got to drive it myself, too. Nakakakaba pero ang saya. Say Hello to Kia Sonnet!

We also kept working on our Pag-IBIG house issue, slowly fixing what needs to be fixed. Hassle, pero at least we’re moving forward.

Another highlight this month was Liam’s birthday celebration at Jollibee Madrigal. It felt good seeing old friends again — lots of stories, laughs, and familiar faces that remind you how fast time flies.

And one of my favorite moments: going to Jas’ office using the car for the first time. It was fun, exciting, and honestly a bit scary — but in a good way. Jas drove on the way there, and I drove on the way home, with Papa as our backup just in case. A small adventure, but a memorable one.

July was a mix of milestones, challenges, and simple joys — and I’m grateful for all of it.

June

June felt like a quiet month at first, but looking back, there were still a few moments worth remembering.

Jas had her company outing, and even though I wasn’t there, it was nice seeing her enjoy, relax, and take a break from the usual routine.

On my end, I continued my driving lessons. Still a work in progress, but every session feels like a small win. I was so scared for every quiz.

And lastly, we had an issue with our Pag-IBIG house that we needed to sort out. Medyo hassle, pero at least we’re taking steps to fix it and move forward.

Nothing too big this month, but sometimes even these small updates shape the bigger story of our year.

May

May turned out to be one of those months filled with simple joys and meaningful moments.

We started the month by celebrating Aries and Elaine’s house blessing. It was nice to gather, eat good food, and pray together for their fresh start.

A few days later, we headed to ATC with the TFs. It’s always a good time with the gang, just catching up, laughing over random things, and making the most of the moments while Hacinth was in town.

Then came Mother’s Day, and we spent it with a refreshing swimming trip. Just family time, water, sunshine, and seeing everyone unwind.

I'm just so happy seeing them both have fun swimming.

We also had a nice Italiani’s lunch with the fam.

And finally, a new milestone for me this month: driving school. First time behind the wheel, first time doing all the real driving stuff. Nakakakaba pero nakakatuwa. Never thought that I'll drive a car in my life.

:)

There's something truly special about packing our bags and embarking on an adventure with family. This vacation was more than just a getaway—it was about slowing down, soaking in laughter, and cherishing every precious moment with my wife and our curious, delightfully silly one-year-old son.

This photo captures a beautiful memory from Boracay, where we celebrated our little one's first birthday. We played in the sand, rode in a boat, and created moments that will stay with us forever.

Looking at breathtaking scenery is always a special experience—it makes you truly appreciate the beauty of the world we live in. But there’s something even more magical about seeing it through your child’s eyes, watching their wonder and amazement unfold before you.

These are the moments that make all the hard work and hustle worth it—the ones that remind us why we do what we do.
