I watched another movie again, but this time, it felt familiar.
I watched it at SM Muntinlupa, which honestly made the experience more comforting compared to watching in Sta. Rosa.
This time, I watched 5 Centimeters per Second by Makoto Shinkai. The live-action one.
I almost forgot what actually happened in the movie, but somehow, the feeling stayed with me all these years. And as I watched it again, the memories slowly came back scene by scene.
The movie still hits the same. Quiet. Haunting. Beautiful.
There’s something about Makoto Shinkai films that make ordinary moments feel heavy in a good way. The distance, the silence, the passing of time—it all feels too real.
It’s a good movie.
I love it.
