Tengoku Daimakyo also known as Heavenly Delusion is one of the best new anime recently. This show is full of mystery, an adventure to search for heaven, and the mystery of a post-apocalyptic world. 

In a few episodes, they managed to hook watchers to this incredible manga adaptation.  They surprised us with every emotion possible and gave us revelations we didn't expect. The art style and animation are perfect for the story. The punchlines are hitting well and dark scenes are orchestrated beautifully. 

They made us experience haunting visuals and a fantastic plotline. This is something everyone should watch.

Blue Exorcist

Here's another anime with an exorcist theme. What's different is this anime's protagonist is Satan's son. Which was raised by a priest. The plot itself is really interesting. I love the characters and supporting characters.

I believe the show has a lot of potential. It has amazing moments but the battles do not have enough build-up to be that impactful. In relation to this, the outpouring of emotion seems to be lacking when the stakes are high. And the anime feels rushed. 

It took me time to finish the anime, I can't invest that much but I like it to the point of finishing it. I still watch this if there's another season.

Just July

I failed to take notes of happenings this month. So, I'll just write from memory.

We went to Laguna for gender reveal location checking. Then, here are some pictures from this month.

That's most of what happened this month, other than that are anime figures and photography. 

It also occurs this month with some of the tiredness. Lately, I've been doing tons of OT from work. I felt drained, I felt the tiredness not just my body but my mind. I don't have much pressure from work but working for more than 12 hours is surely draining at some point. 

But the Lord is good. He sustains and strengthens. He gives grace.

This is one of the bravest anime, unafraid of backfires and deaths. They just kill everyone and the antagonist may have the most plot armor than anyone. 

The plot is excellent but it needs more development and more character building. It has excellent potential, it just needs more time with the characters. If we extend the show a little more, it will become of the great animes out there. 

The deaths are on point but if they invest more time exploring the characters, it will have a significant impact. 

I lowered the rating because it became dragging, there are times when I didn't know what they fight for. But I'm glad that I finished this. I almost drop it multiple times. It gets better and better. The end caught me off guard but it's still good.

I wonder if I just love basketball or what. But this show really hooked me from the start. This has been on my watchlist for a while, but I chose to ignore it and prioritize 12-episode animes.

This is unlike Kuroko No Basket. This is your average high school student who aims to be the best basketball team in high school. No power-ups, just skill, determination, and passion. What's great about this is the show feels normal. It's like watching someone else's life. 

We know their situation, we know what they are capable of, and what they're doing is what we expect. But, against all odds, we also expect them to win. They're the protagonists, right?

Well. That's the mountain that they're trying to overcome. It's frustrating for them and it will be frustrating for us the viewers. But we still know that it will get better.  

I hope that there will be a second season. The show deserves a second season!

This show blew the anime world by storm. If you're in for a wild roller coaster ride, this has to be it. It gave me a weird combination of themes in the show. 

The initial selling point of the show is about being reincarnated as your idol's children, which is really exciting in itself and what you'll expect on the 1-hour pilot episode special. Then, the ending got us right on the spot, now, we are unsure of how things will go. 

I ended up enjoying the show while it drifts from why I hopped into the anime. The storytelling is nice but sometimes confusion due to my personal expectation. Throughout the show, I'm waiting for a plot twist that will lead us back from the start.
