Hell's Paradise is one of the anticipated anime series this past season and there's a reason why. It is so good, it hooked me to the show from the first episode. The animation, the battles, the concept. 

Gabimaru is our protagonist, known for his cold killings and brutal battles. We journeyed with him as he found himself captured and ready to be executed - only to be saved and given a chance to be free and be with his wife. 

Now, the story goes on to the battle arena to search for the Elixir of Life, where the exciting part happens. 

The story and pace are excellent and they really take time to know each character, in a span of 13 episodes, you'll get to know the characters, not just on the surface level.
