MOMENT OF A DAY IN A YEAR:

I woke up from a really good sleep. I thought everything will be alright but it was just a fantasy. My breakfast is a great meal, too bad I had so much that made me collapse and lose consciousness, I thought that it was the end of me. But in times like these, the goodness of people around you will change your perspective. You'll appreciate strangers and their warm heart.

I also received so much love and a sermon from the one that I love. The care and her bravery amazed me.

We were having a good time finishing our food. The laughter turned into fear and the adrenaline flashed over me. There was fire all over the place. There's no place to go but God has been good and it went down on its own, sparing our lives and possessions.

I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a bath. Seconds turn to hours, mixing water with soap as I mix my sadness and gladness. Sadness from my regrets of spending and not having a savings account. Gladness for He is good.

The office has been really tiring and painful. Fake news was being spread like a wildfire and negativity was being raised. I wished I knew nothing. There's a good thing in the end, though there were massive changes and eating at Frankie's made everything better.

Lunch made me feel null. The drone shots were amazing. The beach will always be the thing and jumping up and down from those trampolines? Dream come true. I also did a little help for my Jewa as she opened up her Travels and Tours Business, Travel Render.

I also happened to be amazed by God's story as I listened to His Word. I had a great time with my friends in Victory and still have a good relationship with JIL family.

Dinner offers me playtime and realization of the thought of "What's Next?" Apparently, we're getting late but God has a promise for tomorrow and He will never fail. His ways are higher and it's the last day of the year.

BIBLE STORY OF THE YEAR:

Matthew 13:44-46

The Parable of the Hidden Treasure
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

The Parable of the Pearl of Great Value
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

THE LAST SONG:

These are the last songs I've played in the previous years

2008: Declaration - David Cook
2009: Centerfield - Stellar Kart
2010: Your Name High - Hillsong United
2011: Happy - Ayiesha Woods
2012: Keep The Candle Burning - Point of Grace
2013: When You Call My Name - Vineyard Music UK
2014: Like the Sun - Stellar Kart
2015: Kung Wala Ka - Hale
2016: I Could Sing of Your Love Forever - Hillsong
2017: Take Me Away - Lifehouse
2018: Saving Name - Mid-Cities Worship
2019: I Offer My Life - Don Moen

A LOVE LIFE

4 years and you're still there. I know for sure that my life would suck without you. I can't imagine living this life not being with you. I wish I can do more and be more. You're always the same wonderful woman that I know. Your patience is unimaginable and your love amazingly gives hope and peace.

What's different this year? I don't know but I'm falling in love with you more. I'm not sure what I did to deserve you but whenever I stopped and think about everything that you do, it blows my mind. This year, I'm looking at you the way the same way that I stare at you on the day that I've fallen in love with you.

I realized that I did not just fell in love with your inner beauty but you're really good looking and sizzling hot. #GondoKaGh0rl?

And I ask again, what I did to deserve you?

SPIRITUALITY. RELATIONSHIP. GOD

'Cause when I'm with You, I come alive
My day's full of color, I dance through the night
When I see You move, I follow Your lead
My eyes are on You, And Yours, are on me

Christmas 2019

It's the birth of Jesus.
Well, actually, it's not. Nobody really knows the exact date and time of His birthday, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to set a date to celebrate His journey towards us, humans, around 2000 years ago.

I don't wanna be a bummer but, I'm just going to put it out there..

Christmas is about Christ.

It's not about the kids.
It's not about the gifts.
It's not about family.

It's a day where we should celebrate for He has come and will save us from our sins. Well, we celebrate Christmas with kids, gifts, and family but please don't confuse it with the true meaning of Christmas.

Anyway..

Our Christmas was pretty simple. I helped my mom cook our meal for the night. Everyone seems busy and Egypt's girlfriend decided to celebrate with us. We opened gifts and thank God for all that He has done with my simple whisper.

On Christmas Day itself. I went with my girlfriend's family to shop for anything. They have been a huge blessing for me and my family.

Then, that's it. There's nothing big of news or event but spending the day with your loved ones will always be sweet.

Notice to Explain

I've been working for more than 5 years and as per my own judgment, I'm a pretty good employee. I don't break rules and If I did, it a thing that cannot be considered as bad.

Well, I don't know if other companies do this as well. But if you have a violation, you'll be given the notice to explain and you have to defend yourself stating why you should not be held liable for such accusation.

And my streak was broken. Because of that freaking late that I've been talking about in my tweets.

And it was unexpected traffic. It's so crazy that if you go to Alabang from Alabang, it will take you an hour. That's how bad it was.

In 2 years in my current campaign, my late arrival only happens once before this one and it's very sad. I'm really hoping that they'll consider what happened.

I don't want to count my efforts for the company but if I'll be held liable, I don't know what will I fell.

Hahaha.

Toucan Brazillian BBQ

Since Jassiee and I went to Binondo on the day of my birthday. I didn't have a chance to celebrate with my family.

So, after several shouts and fighting and misunderstanding, we went to a Mexican Buffet restaurant called Toucan Brazillian BBQ Buffet Restaurant, so we can celebrate with food.

We were the only customer for the night and the food is great. The BBQs are the best and those grilled fruits are amazing. I didn't even mention yet the Ice Creams.

We got different kinds of meat, from Pork, different kinds of Beef, Chicken and of course, Shrimps.

Thank You Lord for this family. And for the food.

JIL Muntinlupa 30th Anniversary

I attended the JIL Muntinlupa 30th anniversary and it's always fun seeing familiar faces around you.

I saw those performances and hear their worship to God, thanking Him for His faithfulness through those years. I attended their anniversary without any expectation of what will happen.

I heard the teaching that will always inspire us to be better in our faith in God and be like an eagle that soars higher than the storms. I missed those close to the heart songs that I grew up singing. Apparently, they are the same church that I had in the previous years.

KKBs

Kuya Marlon and Ate Joan
After the program, I happened to talk, give high-fives and hugs to those amazing people that I've been with. They are the same sweet and funny people, too bad I didn't have a picture with all of them.

I love them all and It's amazing that there are no grudges held ever since we left a few years ago. God has been good, and He's always been.

Life Lesson from flying a drone

So, I recently presented my Passion in the Human Project, TaskUs' version of a salary increase. Basically, what they did is they give you a salary increase base on your performance and if you presented a valid passion or purpose, it has a kicker. This is to help you fuel that passion and purpose.

It's a support for improving yourself and for doing good to the community. My presentation was 2 months ago and, I already received the increase.

But there's this one thing that one of the panels asked me. She asked me what did I learn from flying a drone, aside from the technicals. I told them that I received a new perspective on life. I didn't elaborate fully by what I meant but since we're on my blog, let me.

Flying a drone and watching the camera pans everywhere is quite a cinematic and life-changing view for me. You see, I've been taking pictures for a while now, from micro to macro, from high to low angle but I never really taken anything from above, looking down.

That gives me a new set of ideas and a refreshing view of things because sometimes we see and look at things on a daily basis and we thought that we've known everything about it.

It goes the same with the person you love. The time will come that we'll get used to them and their presence. But when we started to view things differently, looking at the things that we don't normally seek and before you know it, we're being amazed by those new discoveries.

It's not a different person but we're looking at the same person from a different angle.

Another thing that I learned is realizing that we're tiny people, small people trying to do things and trying to survive. We encounter problems and struggle with life. Then I thought to myself, how does God view these things, these small people roaming around.

I believe that God is huge and far. He's so big that there's nothing that He can't do and He sees things from afar. But I also believe that He's small God and He is close to our hearts.

Why did I include God here? Well, because of what I call "God's View", it's a drone's camera representing God's eye looking at us. In His eyes, we're small but He sees everything. He knows what's happening in our world and in our lives. He is also close to us and He understands.

Binondo

So, I heard about Binondo multiple times in my life and I get familiar with the name because of an old Teleserye, My Binondo Girl.

A few weeks ago, my girlfriend asked me where should we celebrate this day of mine. I honestly don't know the answer to that question. So, I'm letting her decide. She told me that we should go to Binondo and Intramuros. I agreed, not knowing what's special about Binondo.

I'm not a Manila boy.

I flipped my laptop open and started a quest on "What to do in Binondo", I started to notice 1 thing among those search results, Food walk! From google, I went to YouTube to confirm this discovery, because I believe with all of my heart that if there's food, there's a vlog.

And my excitement bursts, to find out those dumplings, siopaos, and soups in an epic food walk that I've never done before.

So, we met at San Pedro at a certain time and went straight to Manila. We arrived at Binondo around 2pm, I guess? Upon arrival, we started to search for those recommended restaurants - it's a bit crowded, well, it's Manila, what do I expect?

I opened a site which has food and restaurant recommendation: Binondo Food Crawl by outoftownblog.com and good thing that they included the exact address here.

Dong Bei Dumplings

I checked multiple blogs and Dong Bei Dumplings is always on the top of the list to visit. So, Jassiee and I google mapped the address and the first stop has been found. It's not a fancy restaurant with fancy food but the place looks like a normal house with a carinderia

We ordered these fresh Dumplings for Php 200 and it's wonderful in mouth. Why did I just learn about this stuff?

Cafe Mezzanine

Our next stop is just a few steps away from Dong Bei Dumplings, Cafe Mezzanine. It has a bar and a youthful vibe. It seems like we're not in Binondo because of its style.

What we came here for is, the Xiao Long Bao, because we really miss Taiwan. I miss that burst of soup after biting it. So, that's what we ordered for Php 180 and Kiampong Rice for Php 80 which we didn't really finish because of the fear of being full.

Tea Brothers

After those 2 restaurants, we haven't had a drink, it's just water, of course, our day wouldn't be completed without a sip of Milktea from Tea Brothers, we happened to order some Egg Tarts as well. The egg tart is surprisingly good, while the milktea was extra sweet.

After that, we roam around to find other stores and shops. It was an aimless approach, but by accident, we stumble upon:

We ordered 2 packs [4 Pieces per] worth Php 88 each and this Siopao is bad, when I say bad, I say super good. It's served hot and it's fluffy and full of meat inside.

We went to another restaurant before our last stop, The Original Salido Restaurant, upon entering, I feel like I'm in a wrong neighborhood, there were old Chinese people and the only Pinoys that I saw were the crew. It's funny but those people were welcoming and wonderful. We didn't order any as we're aiming for the Pork Asado which was out of stock.

So, we decided to end our Food walk at Wai Ying Fastfood and ordered Beef Noodles and Shark's Fin dumpling. Both were amazing but it's just sad that we didn't experience this fully as our stomach is already screaming at us to stop putting food in our mouths.

After that, we're headed home and enjoyed the traffic with our talks and stories. It's indeed a wonderful and enjoyable day.

Thank you, Jas for bringing me here. You da one and you da best!
